UT Community News students often cover hard-hitting stories related to housing prices, crime, the unhoused, and other public policy issues affecting their communities.
For a recent episode of the “Cal State LA Community News Hour” on KPFK 90.7 FM, the reporters wanted to provide our audience with a flavor of the small cities and neighborhoods we cover in Los Angeles County – on the Eastside, in the Northeast, Southeast and in South Los Angeles. We wanted to take a moment to celebrate these communities so we asked residents about their favorite memories of the neighborhoods. We hope you enjoy them, and to share your favorite neighborhood memory with us, find us at @UTCommunityNews on Twitter and Instagram, or @CSULACommunityNews on Facebook.
