Five updates that happened over the summer

A variety of restaurants changed their hours of operation for this semester such as Carl’s Jr. It is open Monday through Thursday 7 a.m. to 7 p.m and Fridays from 7 a.m. to 3 p.m. El Pollo Loco will open from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. and 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. You can visit  https://www.uascalstatela.org/uas-dining-services for more information on other restaurants.

Outside of King Hall, there are new silver tables and chairs, replacing the previous tables with yellow umbrellas.

The bookstore has recently added board games for students to purchase and expand merchandise. These games include Monopoly, SORRY!, Connect 4, etc.

In case students are not aware, the Office for Students with Disabilities are offering in-person testing for students in need of accommodation. The center is located on the first floor of the Student Services Building.

The Village Cafe swapped to “reusable eco-friendly” boxes. A $5 deposit is required if students decide to opt for this option and is refundable at the end of the school year, starting the last two weeks of May.
