A free drive-thru flu shot clinic will be hosted at Cal State LA this Friday, Nov. 20. Los Angeles County Supervisor Hilda L. Solis and Queens Care Health will be hosting the event along with the university.
The single day event will take place in Lot 5 and will be available for anyone 9 years old and older to get a free flu shot from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.
No appointment is necessary for this event however, the one-day-only clinic will require all individuals to wear a face mask and practice physical distancing guidelines as required by the Los Angeles County Department of Public Health.
Individuals will also be given free holiday grocery bags and dental care kits while supplies last in this drive-thru event.
Outside of this scheduled event, free flu shots are available to students at the Student Health Center on campus. In order to get a flu shot at the Health Center, students must schedule an appointment by calling (323) 343-3300.
