Adrian Bennett de Avila, Station Manager
Joshua Letona, Editor-in-Chief
Starting at the University Times in Spring 2019, Joshua Letona has worked his way as an intern to three different editors positions and now, Editor-in-Chief. He’s contributed to over 70 articles at the UT, along with reinventing the Culture section. Joshua’s passions lie in storytelling as he strives to be a filmmaker and entertainment journalist.
Marisa Martinez, Audio Editor
Marisa Martinez is a senior at Cal State LA majoring in Journalism. She has served as managing editor, editor-in-chief, digital editor and now audio editor for the University Times. Marisa is also currently the station manager at Golden Eagle Radio. Outside of her work at Cal State LA, Marisa also works as a CalMatters College Journalism Network fellow. After graduation this spring, Marisa will be interning at the Los Angeles Times news desk where she is looking forward to putting her years of journalism work to the test.
Richard Tzul, News Managing Editor
Tahiti Salinas, Editor-in-Chief
Tahiti Salinas is the Editor-in-Chief of the University Times. Tahiti has previously been the managing editor and a staff reporter. She is a senior at Cal State La, majoring in broadcast journalism. Combining her love for films and journalism experience, she hopes to work on documentaries. She also enjoys watching horror movies and wishes to one day work on a horror film.
Joshua Mejia, Multimedia Editor
Joshua Mejia is a fifth year TVF Major in the Film option, who has been with the University Times for six semesters. He is a filmmaker-photographer who specialized in street photography before joining the UT as an intern. In his final year, he is now the Multimedia Editor. His work is grounded in the philosophy of a decisive moment that sums up the humanity of the story.
