BREAKING: President Covino announces retirement

On August 18, President William Covino announced he will be retiring at the end of the 2022-2023 academic year. He will retire in June 2023.
Covino made his announcement at the end of the 2022 University Convocation hosted at the Luckman Fine Arts Theater at the Cal State LA campus.
Following the Convocation, a school wide email was sent out.
“I’m honored to have had the opportunity to serve as president of Cal State LA… for nearly 10 years,” Covino said.
Covino served as the seventh president of Cal State LA.
