Golden Eagles, get your pucks ready for another Cal State LA collaboration with one of the major sports franchises in the city: The Los Angeles Kings.

The Kings face-off against the New Jersey Devils on Saturday, Feb. 29 at the STAPLES Center; a Leap Year special.

This event continues the string of LA professional sports teams collaborating with Cal State LA, the last being Cal State LA Night at Dodger Stadium last summer.

This time, as opposed to receiving Cal State LA special edition Dodger baseball caps, guests who purchase tickets through Cal State LA’s Alumni Association will receive a free LA Kings + We Are LA scarf, while supplies last. Tickets prices range from $35 to $85 and are to be redeemed through an AXS app account. This does not include parking.

The daylong event begins with a Fan Fest at 10 a.m. followed by a Cal State LA meet-up at Impact Bar & Grill, located at the STAPLES Center, at 11:30 a.m. It is stated on the website that children will not be allowed at the bar. Game time is slated to begin at 1 p.m.

Scarves are to be picked up at the group sales booth at the end of the second period, approximately two hours of gametime, near Section 110 and Guest Services by providing a valid ID.
